Woodridge Country Hotel and Spa is located in beautiful gardens, situated in an 89 ha Nature Reserve, on the rolling hills of Balgowan. This is the heart of the KwaZulu Natal Midlands.

Quiet elegance, heartfelt hospitality, excellent cuisine and service are enhanced by the on-site Spa and diverse activities in the area. This highly sought after wedding, conference and leisure venue is completely unique.

The hotel is situated 1.5 hours from Durban and King Shaka Airport and four hours from Gauteng and Oliver Tambo Airport. By air you can also access the hotel from Oribi Airport in Pietermaritzburg.

Accommodation

Beautiful gardens and stunning views, provide the backdrop for the comfortable and varied accommodation. Choose from ten deluxe rooms with Spring Water pools, five Garden Cottages or 15 Forest Suites.

All rooms have en suite bathrooms, with separate bath and shower. All rooms are equipped with heaters, hairdryers, TV's ( with selected DSTV channels), electric blankets, homemade eco-friendly bath and beauty products as well as tea and coffee making facilities.

The dress code for breakfast and lunch is casual and for dinner smart casual is perfect.

Weather and Health

• Winter days are normally warm and sunny getting cold in the evenings and early mornings
• Spring is a beautiful season - full of blossoms and warm to hot beautiful blue sky days. Rain can occur
• Summer days can be hot with clear blue skies but the weather can change suddenly and become wet and cold
• Autumn is magnificent as the Plain trees, Liquid Ambers and Oaks turn to stunning autumn colours. Warm days are normal with evenings being chilly
• We are in a malaria free area and there are no health warnings for this area at any time of the year
