Windmill Ridge \ Accommodation in Musgrave

Awake to the song of birds in his tranquil, warm, friendly home, which was built in 1925. Comfortably furnished and situated on a panhandle stand in a quiet, select area with sea/city views. We have six en-suite bedrooms.

Accommodation

In the main house, our “Paisley Room” (twin-bedded) is extremely large, with an inter-leading smaller room containing a further bed for a third person) - ideal for a small family or 3 friends, wishing to share. There is space for a fourth bed, if necessary. “Bermuda Room” is a smaller twin-bedded room. Third is the “Hibiscus Room” (smaller double). Oregan pine floors and sash windows, add to the ambience. Each of these 3 rooms has a bar fridge with chilled soft drinks.

Our three garden units are fully tiled and consist of "The Studio", (originally built as an artists' studio in the 1940’s). This is a delightful, large twin-bedded room with many windows. If necessary, a third bed or camp cot can be installed. "The Grotto" has a double bed and glass sliding doors onto a secluded patio area. These two rooms have the option of self-catering facilities, a fridge with chilled soft drinks in the kitchen and a private garage. The "Gardenia Cottage" (our latest addition), has a luxurious king-size bed which can be converted to twin beds, and leads directly onto the garden area. This unit also has a bar fridge with chilled soft drinks.

Facilities

All rooms are en-suite and serviced daily. They also have Television / M-Net, ceiling fans, extra-length beds, hairdryers, cell phone plugs, hot water bottles, tea / coffee trays, to add to your comfort. Guests have exclusive use of lounge / dining area, and the opportunity to relax on the verandah with a sun downer or that well earned cuppa, taking in the lovely view of both sea and city.

Breakfast

A choice of Full English or a health breakfast is served in the main building.

Location

Windmill Ridge is situated close to Musgrave Centre, which has seven cinemas, numerous speciality shops and a wide variety of restaurants. The International Convention Centre, Westridge, Kingsmead, Moses Mabhida and Kings Park Stadiums, Greyville Race Course and major golf courses - all within 3½ kms.
