Accommodation

Spacious and comfortable nine en-suite rooms with ‘home comforts’ enhance the experience of your stay with us, whether it is for a business trip, holiday or honeymoon. Add to this an attentive staff and management team with a passion to please and you’ll truly experience the luxury of putting your feet up.

Umdlalo Lodge offers nine rooms en suite:
• Five Executive Suites
• Three Deluxe Suites, with air-con
• An exclusive romantic Honeymoon Suite with air-con

The Executive and Deluxe Suites with their Kingsize Beds; on request can be made up as twin beds. Umdlalo Lodge offers corporate packages as well as various long stay benefits.

All rooms are equipped with colour TV with remote control, DSTV with pre selected channels, ceiling fan, digital safe, direct dial telephone and a facility to make tea and coffee. All rooms lead into an attractive central courtyard garden. Secure parking is available at Umdlalo Lodge.

Breakfast and Dining

Breakfast is served in our breakfast room. We offer both Continental and English breakfasts. Join us for dinner at our famous ZiZi’s Restaurant located at Umdlalo Lodge. Zizi’s Restaurant, a Ladies Bar and expansive veranda with sea views make for lazy afternoons that melt away into the sunset.

Weddings

Umdlalo Lodge is situated in Umtentweni on the beautiful south coast of Natal. The Lodge is only an hour's drive south of Durban and within easy access of the N2, Port Shepstone and Margate. Umdlalo Lodge offers upmarket luxurious suites, accommodating a maximum of 18 guests sharing. All our rooms are en-suite and lead out into a central garden courtyard.

We offer you the opportunity to hold your ceremony in the lodges' beautifully manicured garden, as well as celebrating your wedding reception in our well established restaurant venue, 'Zizi’s'. Up to 80 guests can be seated in the restaurant with a dance floor on the outside verandah. Should you be hosting up to 120 guests, please take note that four tables will have to be placed on the outside verandah.

Conferences

Umdlalo Lodge can host day conferences in the main and private dining room with seating for up to 60 delegates and we specialise in catering for smaller and more intimate conferences with specific needs. Our stylish ladies bar lounge, with its unique decor, and our expansive verandah with magnificent sea views, has become a popular venue for business meetings and social get togethers.
