The Lesters \ Accommodation in Salt Rock

The Lesters is an authentic beach house majestically overlooking Tiffany’s reef, a surfer and spear fisherman’s paradise on the KwaZulu Natal North Coast. Guest will delight in watching the dolphins, whales and surfers from the spectacular veranda - the main feature of this beautiful holiday home. The beach is a mere 80 meters from the house and the swimming is great.

Accommodation

The house offers a magnificent veranda, lounge, dining room, kitchen, laundry, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and en-suite guest cottage (sleeping 8 adults comfortably, 10 in total) and staff quarters.

All bed linen is provided with the exception of bath and beach towels. The kitchen is fully equipped with 2 fridges, large freezer, microwave, stove, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier and crockery, cutlery & glassware for 10.

On-site parking is plentiful and the property is fully walled with armed response. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and the main bedroom and TV room have air-conditioning for those really hot days. The TV has a built in DVD player. DSTV is available but you will have to supply your own DSTV card.

The Lesters is a non-smoking cottage and it would be appreciated if guests restrict smoking to outdoors. There is also a live-in caretaker. The Lesters is a child-friendly house!

Activities and Attractions

The main Salt Rock swimming beach (life guards and shark nets) is a mere kilometre away, whilst “grannies pool” is an easy 400m stroll up the beach. The Salt Rock Hotel, a popular wedding venue, is 400 meters up the road and The Lesters is well positioned for easy access to the wedding venues on the Dolphin Coast.

The Lester’s is conveniently situated 10 minutes from Ballito which has a variety of shops and excellent restaurants. Golf courses such as Umhlali, Zimbali, Prince’s Grant and Simbithi are easily accessible. The area has a buzzing nightlife and a variety of activities including deep-sea ocean charters which can be arranged by contacting the owner.

The Gateway Theatre of Shopping is an easy 25 minute drive away and guests will find movie houses, a skate park, wave house, Imax theatre and a variety of shops and restaurants here. For those wishing to visit the game reserves in Zululand be prepared for a 2 hour drive north. The airport is 45 minutes away.
