Teremok Lodge \ Accommodation in Umhlanga Rocks

This former home of a mining family has been meticulously transformed into a luxurious haven for the discerning traveller and business executive. Teremok means “little hideaway” in Russian and is an oasis of serenity close to the beach. Spacious rooms each boast their own balcony offering breathtaking sea views or a vantage point of the land's park-like garden. Hands-on owners (associated with The Barnyard Theatre at Gateway) ensure that personalised service and attention to detail are mandatory in this multi-million rand Umhlanga development.

ACCOMMODATION

Each individually decorated room offers extra length beds (twin or king size), handcrafted ceiling fans, airconditioning and, while most have a separate entrance, each has its own private balcony. The open plan bathrooms have a large shower, freestanding bath, double basins and a separate toilet and bidet. Extras include a home entertainment system with DVD player and flat screen TV as well as free ADSL internet connection.

BREAKFAST

Delicious homemade breakfasts are prepared by two specially trained cooks in the open plan kitchen. The menu works on a six day cycle and each offers a selection of cereals and yoghurt while the remaining three courses consist of a fruit dish, pastries, muffins or breakfast breads and two hot breakfast options.

WELLNESS CENTRE

The Wellness Centre is equipped with cardio-vascular equipment (including upright and recumbent bicycles and a treadmill) and free weights that may be used free of charge. The Wellness Centre is open from 05h00 to 22h00.

A treatment room can also be found in the Wellness Centre and a personal trainer or therapist (also available after hours) can be booked on behalf of guests. Treatments available include a combination of the following therapies: Swedish Massage (Deep Tissue Massage), General Massage, Acupressure (Shiatsu), Reiki, Aromatherapy and Reflexology.
