Sunny Rock is hidden within the beautiful nature of Southbroom which is situated in South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, 10km from Margate, and just 75 minutes drive by freeway from Durban International Airport. A daily flight into Margate Airport allows easy access from all of the country's major towns.

Sunny Rock offers a great opportunity for a satisfying, relaxed holiday to spend with the whole family and friends or even amongst business colleagues.

ACCOMMODATION

Beautiful, peaceful, very secure and fully equipped two and four bedroom self catering double story units, hidden within the wild bush of Southbroom. Sunny Rock is the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday.

Four bedroom unit for eight sleepers (four double beds and sleeper couches) contains an open plan kitchen, two bathrooms, two living rooms both equipped with DSTV and DVD, and a private veranda. Each room equipped with ceiling fan.

Two bedroom units contain one living room equipped with a TV, DSTV and DVD, small kitchen, bathroom with shower, two bedrooms upstairs for five or six sleepers (double and single beds), and private wooden deck. Each room equipped with ceiling fan.

For those who love the outdoors there’s a braai facility, huge lapa, campfire place, sparkling rock swimming pool including an outdoor shower to get that golden beach sand off from your sunny day at the beach. Enjoy your nights with the soothing sounds of nature around you.

FACILITIES

Sunny Rock also provides access to the internet and for a peace of mind when it comes to our guests valuables, a safe is also available. Sunny Rock is very secure and has safe parking within the premises. Please bring your own food and towels as well as your DSTV card. All the rest is provided for your convenience! Room services are available on request.

Even though you will feel far away from all the usual holiday havoc and far from civilization, there is a 10km drive to Ramsgate or Margate for all your shopping needs, even though Southbroom does offer a small shop which should provide you with all the necessities you need.

ATTRACTIONS & ACTIVITIES

The main Southbroom beach is +/- 2km, perfect for those who enjoy long summer walks, or just a simple 2 min drive. Southbroom also has two other beaches which are a bit more private. And for all those golf fanatics there is a pleasant two minute drive to the Southbroom Golf Course which was voted one of the most beautiful golf courses in the country.

Tennis courts and bush trails are also some of the activities within the area, as well as trails for backpackers. Enjoy nearby romantic beach horse riding, perfect for couples or simply great fun for the whole family. Children can also enjoy riding their bikes or scooters on our very safe roads which are also great for cyclists.

For all the party animals, get your friends together and check out Southbrooms local bar to have some drinks, a bite to eat, play some pool or just to shake it on the dance floor. For even more entertainment, take a 10 minute drive to Margate central. However, if you prefer the more relaxed and quite way to spend your holiday, Southbroom offers fantastic fishing spots.
