31]. Visit the Durban Jewish Club
This attractive old red tiled club was opened in 1913 to provide for the Jews of
Durban a centre of assembly for the propagation and development of Jewish thought, Ideals
and culture, and for social intercourse.' The club was placed at the disposal of His
majesty's and allied forces as a canteen in 1940-45, and during this period over two
million members of the services made use of the premises Cnr Old Fort Road and Playfair
Road. |

 A replica of a typical Zulu village with
beehive shaped huts. Here a visitor can gain insight into the lifestyle of the Zulu's and
see their living quarters and utensils. A typical Zulu dance is performed at the arena for
visitors. A traditional lunch is also available. Many water-loving indigenous trees and

one-stop arts, leisure, theatre, gallery and event info stand. In-between shopping, there
is a comprehensive tea garden with an array of brunch and tea time delights, as well as
childrens activities and a playground. |
