The Rhino Coast Guesthouse is an upmarket, luxury Bed & Breakfast situated in the town of St. Lucia. It offers a tranquil escape for the discerning world traveller or business executive.

Accommodation

The elegantly furnished en suite air-conditioned rooms are equipped with all the necessary amenities to ensure a luxury stay. The family rooms each sleep four people with full bathrooms, showers and corner baths. All of our non-smoking rooms open into the garden area which leads to a sparkling swimming pool; to refresh you after an enjoyable day exploring the African bush. The house has a modern, open-plan design flowing into the outdoor entertainment lapa where true South African breakfasts are served.

Self Catering facilities:
The Guesthouse has a big kitchen and it is fully equipped. It is available for any guest to make use of. A lapa is equipped with a braai for guests to use.

Meals

Dinners or traditional braai’s (barbeque’s) can be arranged on request, however, St. Lucia boasts a variety of restaurants, all in walking distance of the guesthouse.

Activities and Attractions

The Rhino Coast Guesthouse is a stone’s throw away from the St. Lucia Nature Reserve, which forms an integral part of South Africa’s first National World Heritage Site. The town is known as the gateway to iSimangaliso, the Greater St. Lucia Wetlands Park which offers pristine beaches, whale watching, turtle tours, prolific bird life, snorkelling, game-viewing, fishing, walking trails, cycling, night safari, sunset safari, horse riding, Zulu cultural tours and boat cruises on the 85km Estuarine lake, filled with an estimated 1300 hippo’s and several thousand crocodiles. St. Lucia is also in close proximity of the Hluhluwe – Umfolozi Game Reserve to view the Big 5.

The Rhino Coast Guesthouse also owns 4 x 4 safari vehicles – discounted rates on tours can be arranged, also packages rates are available on request (accommodation, game drive, boat cruise etc).

The Guesthouse provides a perfect base from which to explore the beauty of the Wetlands Park and surroundings. Tours can be arranged and all bookings done through our office where we will advise you on what to do and where to go!
