"Honey Pot" is situated in a quiet residential area and is only 800 meters walk from the golden beaches and 600 meters walk from the many and varied local restaurants.

Your hosts Heather and Bob Hunter welcome you to our home where we offer you European Style homely Bed & Breakfast with the emphasis on Peace and Privacy. Umhlanga is situated 15 kilometres north of Durban and boasts an up market village atmosphere with wonderful beaches and life guard supervised bathing.

ACCOMMODATION

Our rooms all have En-suite bathrooms with individual private entrances from our gardens. Colour TV with MNET, CSN and a Satellite channel is in all rooms together with tea/coffee making facilities. Each room also has a telephone with an additional socket for use with your own PC. Clean towels are provided daily and there is a daily maid service. Each room overlooks pretty gardens where you can sit and enjoy the peace and tranquillity.

BREAKFAST

Breakfasts (full English and/or Continental) are served on our front patio overlooking the Indian Ocean which is about 800 meters walk away. There is a pool for guests use where you can enjoy a sunbed or just float around in the water. There are also Braai (Barbecue) facilities for your use either round the pool or outside your own room.

FACILITIES & SERVICES

Full business facilities are offered, for the travelling businessman and email facilities are available to all. There is a laundry service, and picnic baskets can be provided on request. Transfers to and from the airport, together with various day trips can be arranged, and car hire can also be arranged with several reputable local companies as well as the internationally known companies.

ACTIVITIES & ATTRACTIONS

Valley 1000 Hills, Assagay Safari Park, Crocodile Park, Umgeni Bird Park, Botanical Gardens, Sea World and Sharks Board. We are also close to Gateway, the largest shopping and entertainment complex in the Southern Hemisphere. Other activities include: Health and Leisure Club (Daily Passes can be arranged), Golf, Horse Riding, Scuba Diving and tennis courts at La Lucia nearby.
