Homeways B&B is situated in the upmarket suburb of La Lucia. Homeways is ideally situated to a wide range of tourist attractions and is in close proximity to Umhlanga and Durban beaches, Gateway Theatre of Shopping, Durban ICC, Umhlanga Hospital and Umhlanga Ridge Business district. The Absa Stadium, Suncoast & Sibaya Casino, Kingsmead Cricket and Greyville Racecourse is a mere 10 minute drive. Durban International Airport is 25 minutes away and Virginia airport is a 5 minute drive.

Homeways offers guests an ideal location in which to rest and explore. It also boasts a 4 star rating, and it has a home away from home feeling, and caters for both the business man and holiday maker. The La Lucia Mall and Virgin Active gym is within walking distance. The Drakensberg Mountains and Umfolozi and Hluhluwe Game Reserves are about a two hour drive away. Homeways is easy to find as we are located in the same road as La Lucia Mall in Armstrong Avenue. There is easy access to the M4 and N2 national highways.

Accommodation

To make your stay as comfortable as possible Homeways Bed and breakfast has three tastefully decorated en-suite rooms, each with their own private entrances. Our twin room boasts a large en-suite bathroom with both shower & bath, while our queen room offers an equally spacious en-suite bathroom with shower. Each of the rooms have a TV with M-Net, tea & coffee facilities, bar fridge, aircon, alarm system and hairdryer.

One of the three en-suite rooms is semi self catering which provides a spacious, comfortable environment for the more independent visitor with a microwave and toaster, cutlery and crockery, and basic utensils. It also has a pull-out couch for a child or small person.

Facilities

Homeways has safe on-site parking and guests are given a remote for the automatic gate to allow entry and exit freely. On those hot summer days you are most welcome to tan and take a dip in our swimming pool where you have the most amazing sea-view. Children can be accommodated in our semi-self catering room only.

Breakfast and Dining

Breakfast is served daily in our newly appointed breakfast room which has beautiful sea-views, where you can watch the ships at sea while eating your breakfast. Our rates include both full English and Continental breakfast, which offers cereals, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, freshly baked muffins or croissants and a sumptuous cooked breakfast. Dinner can also be arranged at an extra cost.
