Accommodation

We have four stylish en-suite double rooms equipped with TV’s air conditioners, coffee making facility’s, toilet and shower, Breakfast is served in the our breakfast area for all our guests in the double en-suite rooms and can seat twenty guests.

Self catering units
We offer two self catering units fully equipped with guttery linen, TV, microwave, fridge, micro-oven, one double bed, one single bed, toilet, shower and an air conditioner

General Area
The pub and braai area, lounge and heated salt water pool including a play area for the kids are there to be enjoyed by our visitors. We offer secure parking with remote controlled gates and each unit are fitted with an alarm.

We are situated close to the popular Uvongo beach and lagoon. Shelly Beach’s shopping centres are in close proximity. Margate’s night life is to be experienced.

Pleasure trips

We offer expeditions and boat rides for divers and non divers to experience the phenomenal Sardine Run which accrue once a year. Enjoy an exhilarating launch through the surf on our eight meter dive duck, equipped with twin Yamahas fitted with all safety equipment.
Hundreds of predators can be seen as they follow the Sardines on the run. This is for the adrenaline junky only

Scuba Diving

We are a registered PADI international dive resort, offering discover scuba courses, a variety of specialties and open water up to assistant instructor. We offer packages on advance and Master scuba diver courses. Enjoy our saltwater pool on the premises suitable for buoyancy checks and refreshers. We offer dive gear for hire including air-fills.

We launch our boat from Shelly Beach and dive on Protea Banks 7.5 km from the beach, 26 meters to 40 meters deep with strong currents. Well known for the variety of the following shark’s sightings, Zambezi (Bull Shark), Hammerhead Shark, Tiger Shark, Black Tip Shark, Guitar Shark, Ragged Tooth Shark not for the faint hearted as there will be no cages. Divers need to have an advance qualification. There is a variety of game fish to see to mention a few Snappers, Yellow Tail, Barracudas, Potato Bass not forgetting Humpback Whales, Dolphins and for the very fortunate divers a Whale Shark.

An amazing variety of exotic and indigenous birds in walkthrough aviaries with a tea garden Uvongo area.

Uvongo Flea market
The flea market is open on weekends, public holidays, school holidays and is managed by the Rotary club

Uvongo Race track
The Uvongo race track for model cars is open and close to the flea market.

Deep sea fishing
Deep sea fishing trips can be booked through our establishment with various operators, launching at Shelly Beach.

Inkwasi River resort
Home to a Fish Eagle plus many more species in the Port Shepstone area.

Butterflies of the lost World
Guided tours through a special butterfly dome with a tea garden, curio shop and nursery Ramsgate area.

Beaver Creek Coffee Estate
Sample the taste of farm fresh coffee. Beaver Creek offers daily tours with a restaurant at the estate. Port Edward area.

Riverbend Crocodile Farm
