Fountain Hall Guest Farm \ Accommodation in Mooi River

Fountain Hall Guest Farm is situated on a working dairy farm in the Midlands 7km from Mooi River nestled in the foothills of the Kamberg / Drakensberg Mountains on the Mearns Dam. We are in close proximity to pubs, restaurants, golf courses, schools, battlefields, bushman paintings and Spa’s. Fountain Hall Farm is situated on the Midlands Meander route.

Self Catering ACCOMMODATION

We offer self catering cottages and camping accommodation.

ROOSTER COTTAGE:
This cottage has two bedrooms and can sleep five. The main bedroom has a queen bed, single bed and a cot and the second bedroom is equipped with two single beds. The bathroom has a bath. There is a fully equipped kitchen, fire place in the lounge and under floor heating in both bedrooms and bathroom. Electric blankets are provided on all the beds. Coffee, tea, sugar and milk are supplied. DStv is supplied in the main bedroom.

SADDLERS COTTAGE:
The cottage has two bedrooms and sleeps four. The main bedroom has a queen bed and two single beds in the second bedroom. Under floor heating is provided right through the cottage. There is a fully equipped kitchen with coffee, tea, sugar and milk supplied. The bathroom has a shower. Saddlers Cottage has a decoder but only with minimal DStv channels.

CAMPING:
We have a camping site on the Mearns Dam. There is a new ablution block with two toilets and showers. Kitchen facilities consist of a two plate gas stove and a sink with a working top. There is electricity available in the ablution area.

Activities

Activities on the farm include viewing of numerous farm animals, including dairy cows (you can visit our dairy and watch the cows being milked), walks, bass fishing, bird watching, canoeing and mountain biking with your own bike.
