The Braes Lodge is a family run self-catering holiday destination, located on the hill in Ramsgate, KwaZulu Natal with beautiful sea views of the Hibiscus Coast to the North and South. We are approximately 1 hour from Durban International Airport.

ACCOMMODATION

The Braes Lodge prides itself on providing tastefully furnished 1, 2 or 3 bedroom Self Catering Accommodation, set in secure peaceful grounds, with well kept spacious gardens. All our chalets are fully equipped providing all kitchenware, comfortable lounge suites with TV, (DSTV is available if you bring your decoder and card), DVD, video, radio, books and magazines, luxury sprung beds, patio/Braai areas, offering guests a home-from-home feeling. A relaxing holiday can be assured.

Family Unit
The Family Unit sleeps 6 people with 2 queen bedrooms (1 en-suite), large bedroom with 2 single beds, a very large lounge area, separate bathroom, toilet, dining area, lounge and bar. There is a private patio to the rear with a braai area.

Small Units (sleeps 2 to 5 people)
Unit 1: 2/4 Sleeper, Queen en-suite bedroom and 2 single beds in a large kitchen / dining room with a separate lounge. Patio and Braai facilities.

Unit 2: 4/5 Sleeper, Queen en-suite bedroom, Queen bedroon seperate toilet and shower, large kitchen / lounge with 1 single bed. Patio and Braai facilities.

RAMSGATE

Ramsgate has many varied restaurants from French cuisine to fish and chips. Shopping boulevard, and Blue Flag beach. For those of you looking for a more lively time the busy town of Margate is just a 5 minute drive away with.

ACTIVITIES

The Braes Lodge is in Ramsgate the heart of the sunny South Coast with its long stretches of beautiful golden beaches ideal for families whether it is playing in the surf, fishing from the rocks or just sunbathing.

Why not try a boat trip for fishing or Whale and Dolphin watching. All of which can be booked at The Adventure Centre at Ski Boat Bay beach just 800 meters from the lodge. The centre also offers various beach activities including the hiring of kayaks, canoes, beach umbrellas and chairs. Ski Boat Bay is Patrolled on holidays and weekends.

ATTRACTIONS

The South Coast has nine world class 18 hole golf courses within easy reach, with Margate Country Club, Southbroom and San Lamer just a 10 minute drive away. Go further inland for abseiling, horse riding, nature trails and the Worlds highest swing at Oribi George, or why not a visit to the cultural village, then have your photo taken on Leopard Rock.

The Wild Coast Sun Casino is just 20 minutes drive away. So come to The Sub Tropical South Coast With its glorious weather all year round our winters are warm and sunny with sea temperatures that will entice you in.
