Bougainvillea B&B and Self-Catering \ Accommodation in Umhlanga

Bougainvillea B&B and Self-Catering provides a warm and friendly service by owners Yvonne and Wayne Bailey. All our units are extremely spacious and have a clean, comfortable home from home atmosphere. Our establishment has 4 Bed & Breakfast rooms and 1self-catering unit is available.

Bed & Breakfast Accommodation

Our B&B rooms are named Sagewood, Acacia, Baobab and Marula. You will notice that our physical address is 7 Gwarri Road which is also named after a special tree. All our B&B rooms offer DStv, airconditioning and tea / coffee facilities.

Acacia
This room is extremely spacious and has a shower en-suite with a balcony, DStv and tea / coffee making facilities.

Baobab
We have 2 sin/bgle beds in this room and it has a really large separate shower and bath. This room also offers DStv and tea / coffee facilities in the room.

Marula
This is a lovely room with a queen size bed and has a shower en-suite. DStv and tea / coffee facilities can be found in the room.

Sagewood
There is a queen size bed and a large shower en-suite. This room is really spacious and is equipped for small children as there is a double sleeper couch in the room.

Self-Catering Cottage

Our 2 bedroom cottage is situated by our pool area. This unit is very private and the guests can also make use of the braai should they not feel like cooking in the self-catering kitchen. There is an en-suite room off the main room as well as a separate bath and toilet for the guests staying in the second room. The kitchen is open plan and there is a sleeper couch situated in the lounge. This unit has DStv, aircon and fans. Bougainvillea is also pet friendly in this unit provided pre-authorization has been given on the booking.

Breakfast and Dining

Come and enjoy a delicious home from home breakfast in our lovely dining room. Our kitchen is open plan which creates a friendly environment. Breakfast can also be offered to our self-catering guests at a reasonable rate.

Location & Attractions

We are situated 3.5kms from Gateway Entertainment Mall and La Lucia Mall. Gateway offers a wide variety of shops and really great entertainment for both adults and children. The Wave House is a must for everyone to try or to sit back and enjoy whilst watching our great indoor surfers. Sibaya and Suncoast Casino are not to far from us.

We also have Mt Edcombe and the Royal Durban Club nearby. We are surrounded by top restaurants for everyone. We are approximately 15 minutes to the ICC and Durban City and only 25 minutes to the Durban International Airport.

A really great place to sit back and soak up the sun is Umhlanga Beach and Ushaka Marine. Children are most welcome at Bougainvillea B & B and self-catering. Camp cot facilities can be arranged.

Tours and airport transfers can be arranged to many interesting places. Why not visit our famous Hluhluwe Game Park, Shakaland or Lake St Lucia.
