Situated on the lush Kwazulu Natal North Coast, Beach Place @ Lazy Lizard is a stunning 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom luxury four star graded apartment in Umdloti. The beach is a mere 20 metres away and you can literally plop a stone from your balcony right into the blue Indian Ocean!

World-class restaurants, pubs, shopping centres and Durban with all its attractions are just around the corner. This beautiful coastline is known as the Dolphin Coast and dolphins, whales, surfers and kite boarders frolic in the waves to the delight of all. The well-known Sibaya Casino with its Zulu dancing, a tribal village and sophisticated dining and gaming is a scenic 5 minute drive away. Ballito, Zimbali and Umhlanga Rocks with all their attractions, are also conveniently close.

Accommodation

Each uniquely decorated bedroom invites you to snuggle with 200 threadcount designer linen. Two of the bedrooms have sliding doors onto the spacious balcony with its delightful sea views.

Facilities

Beach Place @ Lazy Lizard boasts a fully-equipped, modern kitchen with all the necessary kitchen utensils for self-catering. A braai on the balcony, microwave oven, machine and tumble dryer ensure a comfortable stay. If you don’t feel like cooking, each of the eight Umdloti restaurants promises a unique and very special dining experience.

The lounge and dining area open via sliding doors onto the spacious balcony. Another fabulous chill-out area, with a wooden dining table, braai and comfy patio furniture, is situated on the covered balcony with its stunning sea-views. This is the ideal place for al fresco meals and, of course, South Africa’s favourite entertainment, a traditional braai.

For maximum comfort during the long, hot summer, two of the bedrooms have paddle fans above the beds, while the main bedroom and lounge is kept deliciously cool with air conditioning. The KwaZulu Natal winters are very mild and you’ll remain nice and cosy tucked up under your duvet at night.

Services

Beach Place has excellent security, complete with electric fencing and guarded entry into the building. Safe basement parking is accessed by remote control. For added safety, a security guard is on duty every night and during weekends.

Our cleaning lady takes care of daily housekeeping chores (except over weekends and public holidays). Just sit back, relax and put your feet up!
