Avilla House \ Accommodation in Westville

Tucked away in the cosmopolitan borough of Westville, just outside the city of Durban, lies Avilla House. This lovely guest house has high ceilings, keeping it cool in summer and boasts a fresh, clean French Provencal style, with refined comfort, luxury touches and superb hospitality.

Accommodation

We have six double rooms, all en-suite, with air-conditioning and some have access to a separate entrance to ensure privacy. There are three rooms with extra length double beds and three rooms with extra length single beds. Our bedrooms are tastefully decorated; wrapped in 100% cotton linen, include DSTV Hotel bouquet and tea trays. Safe parking is available on the property. Each room has its own safe.

Wireless internet is available, Visa cards acceptable, remote gate access and there is a swimming pool to cool off during the summer months. Airport collections and drop off’s as well as delicious home made dinners can be arranged (please do give us enough notice).

CONFERENCES

For a small intimate conference venue away from the bustle of the office, look no further as we will cater for board meeting, seminars, training, wine tasting and management meetings. The function room has a wrap around veranda that overlooks the swimming pool.

The conference packages include flip chart/whiteboard and whiteboard pens, water and mints. Tea/coffee can be served on the veranda or take a break under the trees in the garden next to the swimming pool. Décor - all tables are covered with white tablecloths to keep the colour palette neutral. There is also on-site parking for approximately 25 cars.

LOCATION

We are ideally situated approximately 12Km from Durban City, beaches, Umhlanga, Sun Coast Casino, uShaka Theme World and Durban International Convention Centre. 5k from the Pavilion Shopping centre / Westville Hospital / Westway Office Park and Derby Downs Office Park with easy access to the N3, M13 and the M19 highways.

Avilla House is in close proximity to Pinetown, New Germany and Westmead - about 7 minutes drive. The following Golf Courses are also in close proximity - Kloof Country Club, Durban Country Club, Royal Durban and Beachwood.

Centrally situated should you be looking for accommodation in Durban for Indaba, Comrades Marathon, Vodacom Durban July or Durban Home and Garden Show.
