Akrotiri @ Santorini \ Accommodation in Ballito

The ambiance of the white-walled villas of Santorini cannot be matched - all the colour and glory of a sun-swept Greek Isle has been splendidly transported to Ballito on the North Coast of KwaZulu Natal, just 25 minutes from Durban. An idyllic setting with all the magic of South Africa on hand! The complex is very secure, with 24 hour guards.

Thompsons Bay beach is a 2 minutes stroll through the beautiful complex, and a security gate offers direct access to the beach. This is a safe swimming beach with life guards on duty, shark nets, showers and toilet facilities. Santorini also offers direct access to a small, semi-private beach (see enclosed pictures) through the famous hole-in-the-wall rock. There is also a beautiful tidal pool.

The Villas
These three units at Akrotiri are probably the finest units available for letting in the entire Santorini complex. All units are situated right in front of the complex, all with full sea view, right on the cliff of the beach! With unobstructed breathtaking sea views you will have the holiday of a lifetime! (Even if you just sit on the patio watching the incredible bottle-nose dolphins swimming by).

Akrotiri 15 (sleeps 4)
2 Bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and the other with 2 twin beds.

Akrotiri 18 (sleeps 6)
3 Bedrooms each with a double bed.

Akrotiri 19 (sleeps 6)
3 Bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and the other 2 with 2 twin beds each.

Facilities

Two units have 3 bedrooms and one has 2 bedrooms. All units have 2 bathrooms (one consists of a bath, basin and toilet, and the other a shower, basin and toilet). The main bedrooms are furnished with a double bed. Other bedrooms consist of either a double bed or two twin beds. Two of the units are situated on the ground floor with a beautiful, cosy, private garden. The other unit (Akrotiri 18) is located on the first floor with a huge balcony over looking the sea and the beach.

The living areas of each unit consist of a combined dining room and lounge. Each lounge area is spacious, with a beautiful view of the sea which walks out on the patio with table, chairs and a braai. The units are fully air-conditioned, each equipped with a colour television, and full DSTV (Akrotiri 18 also has an additional TV in the main bedroom), microwave, tumble dryer, dish washer, washing machine, iron, toaster, kettle and adequate crockery, cutlery, pots and pans and other equipment.

Tenants have the use of a lock up garage and further secure parking is available for cars and trailers. The Santorini complex has 6 swimming pools, a tennis court and laundry facilities.
