4 Corals on Campbell \ Accommodation in Umhlanga Rocks

Corals on Campbell is a newly developed apartment block situated in the beach resort of Umhlanga Rocks, Durban off Lagoon Drive. It’s an approximate two minute drive to the Umhlanga Village and an approximate three minute walk to the beachfront. The Gateway Theatre of Shopping is an approximate five minute drive away.

The block consists of four units only on the 2nd and 3rd floors. There are two apartments on each floor with a commercial section occupying the ground floor. The parking area and stairway entrance for the apartments is behind an electric gate and fencing. There is no lift, but the stairs are very gradual.

Self Catering Accommodation

Unit 4 is on the second floor and sleeps a maximum of six people. There is a communal pool area for use by all four apartments.

With its chic, contemporary beach tone, this open plan apartment has been interior decorated and is stylish and fresh. An open plan living / dining area comes with a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, dryer, fridge, glass top stove and microwave. The lounge area, is equipped with PVR decoder (no need to bring your own card), and has wonderful seaviews.

The queen bedded main bedroom is ensuite with full bathroom (toilet, shower and bath). Doors from this room also lead out onto a balcony which has seaviews. Relax here on the outdoor sitting area where there is a weber braai at your disposal. The main bedroom is air-conditioned.

The second bedroom is twin bedded with two single beds and again wonderful seaviews. This room is air-conditioned. The third bedroom is double bedded and has sliding doors that open out onto another balcony that runs the full length of the two bedrooms. These rooms share a full bathroom (toilet, basin, bath and shower). The double room is not air-conditioned, but has an overhead ceiling fan.

Facilities & Service

The apartment is serviced daily from Mondays to Fridays. Service on a Saturday and Sunday can be arranged at extra cost. No smoking is allowed in the apartment as are no pets. Raucous parties and Matric students are strictly prohibited. Check-in time is at 2pm and check-out time is at 10am. Should you wish for a late check-out time, please consult with management before-hand.

Activities and Attractions

Gateway Entertainment and Shopping Centre (2nd largest in the World and biggest in the Southern Hemisphere), with shops, restaurants, cinemas, theatres, IMAX, climbing wall, skate park, wave pool, putt putt, squash, aerobics and much more, just 5 minutes away. Game park safaris are within driving distance with the chance of spotting Africa's Big Five.

There are numerous sporting facilities available in the area: play golf at one of the world's top 100 golf courses at the Durban Country Club, take a boat trip to see the dolphins catching the waves, maybe catch a view of the Hump Back Whale, deep sea diving off the Aliwal Shoal to view the numerous fish or take a trip to catch one of the numerous game fish off the coast.
