30 Mont Blanc \ Accommodation in Margate

30 Mont Blanc is a fully furnished three bed roomed two bathroom apartment situated on Manaba beach in Margate.

Accommodation

The apartment comfortably sleeps six. The apartment is on the top floor of a two floor building and commands a beautiful panoramic view of the Indian Ocean. The balcony is partially closed with a built in gas braai, ideal for entertainment. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, fridge, dishwasher, crockery and cutlery.

The apartment has a TV and DVD. A DSTV decoder is installed and all you need to bring is your DSTV card or your decoder if you have the latest version of DSTV to have twenty four hour DSTV viewing. DSTV cards are also available for hire from a television shop behind the apartment.

You need to bring your own beach and bathroom towels as well as your own dish towels. All bedroom linen is provided. Linen changes can be made by arrangement for extended stays. The apartment is not serviced but arrangements can be made should you require this. All the necessary cleaning equipment is available.

The complex has a swimming pool and laundry.
Washing machines and dryers are available at a small fee.
One lock-up garage is provided.
Security both at the gate and in the flat is good.

Attractions and Activities

Lucien Beach is the main beach at Manaba and is only a few meters away with no roads to cross; an easy walk from the apartment to the beach. Swimming is safe on Lucien Beach which also has full-time lifeguards on duty.

There are many lovely walks in the area including a conformable walk to the Margate Main beach. Margate is rated as one of South Africa's Blue Flag beaches with safe swimming, life-savers, surfing and fishing. Whale and dolphin viewing, beautiful walks to Uvongo and St Michael's and a host of other attractions are also there for the taking.

There are ample eating spots in the area from fast foods such as the Mugg and Bean through to more exotic eating within easy walking distance of the apartment and many others a short drive away and in the surrounding towns such as St Michael’s, Southbroom, Ramsgate and Port Edward. The café on the corner supplies your daily newspapers, milk and bread needs and a Spar two blocks away supplies everything else you may require.

Places of interest around Margate include Ramsgate with its restaurants, antique shops and Pistol Pete's Saloon, the modern shopping malls at Shelly Beach with modern shopping and cinema facilities, Shelly Beach where whale watching and fishing trips can be organised, Oribi Gorge for extreme sports and some beautiful viewing sights and Echo Valley coffee farm, Beaver Creek, another coffee farm at Port Edward and the Wild Coast Casino for the more adventurous. Apart from these there is a crocodile and snake farm nearby, many golf courses and Durban and Ushaka only one hour's drive away.

The Margate airport is only five kilometers away and Durban International Airport is one hour away.
